THE AREA
& SITUATION

Arcadia is located about 200 metres north of Utrecht Leidsche Rijn train station. The building is located in a series of (future) office buildings that together form a closed wall between the A2 motorway, the Stadsbaan road and the future residential area. On the south side, it is connected to the existing Helix and Capgemini office buildings. Arcadia has two façades, each with their own unique look: one towards the motorway and one towards Reykjavikstraat. The residential area directly behind the office wall is characterised by the large scale of the buildings, with relatively large and high building blocks. The iconic high-rise of the future residential project MARK marks the new district with what is an exceptional height in Utrecht terms. With its warm architecture, Arcadia blends seamlessly into the urban wall, while retaining its own identity.
